We have added over 1000 titles to the site and have more changes coming soon. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Trade-In
A Trade-in is when you have video games that you wish to exchange for cash or credit at The Gamers Network. You can use the credit we offer towards the purchase of any other games or to receive cash for your games. Cash or Credit its your choice. Unlike other sites that reduce cash payments by as much as 30%, at The Gamers Network we offer the same full trade-in value for both cash or credit.
How it Works
Locate the game you want to trade or buy.
Add the title to your shopping cart.
Checkout.
Our System treats trade-ins like any other website shopping cart system. The only difference is the trade-in value for a game is represented by a negative (-) number. So in fact you are creating an order for a negative total that we will be sending you (example: a game price of -$10.99 means we will pay $10.99 for that game). If a game shows "Out Of Stock" it means we are not currently accepting trade-ins for that title. Check back often as this changes frequently. If you cannot find a game you wish to trade-in or purchase email us and we will look into it.
Trade for Credit
To find game that we are currently accepting browse through the category "Trade Your Games Here". Each game is marked with a negative value representing the current trade-in value of that game. Add the game to your shopping cart; the trade-in value will be deducted from your order total. Checkout, shipping rates will only be applied to the new game we will be shipping to you. Send in your games; be sure to include a print out of your order to assure no mistakes. Once we receive your games we will ship your new games.
Trade for Cash
Currently you can trade your games for cash via Pay Pal payment or payment by mailed Check. Find the game you wish to trade under "Trade Your Games Here". Add the game to your shopping cart; the negative (-) will be the current value of your games. Checkout, choose the method you would like to be paid by. Send in your games; be sure to include a printout of your order. Once we receive your games we will credit your Pay Pal account or send you a check.
PAYMENTS WILL BE SENT EITHER TO THE SHIP-TO ADDRESS AND/OR THE EMAIL ADDRESS (for Pay Pal Payment) USED DURING THE CHECKOUT PROSSESS. PLEASE RE-ENTER YOUR ADDRESSES IN THE COMMENTS FIELD OF YOUR ORDER FORM DURING CHECKOUT TO HELP INSURE NO PROBLEMS OCCUR.
Reimbursable Shipping Fees
The Gamers Network will reimburse USPS shipping cost on items sent to us for trade in. Once your items have been received and accepted we will add shipping cost to your payout amount based on current United States Postal Service Media Mail rates. For customers receiving credit towards purchasing games we will refund shipping charges in the same method as the order was placed. To receive compensation for shipping, trade ins must include a copy of your receipt from USPS. Shipping reimbusments are based on current United States Postal Service Media Mail Rates, for information on these rates go to http://www.usps.com.
Requirements for Trade-Ins
We currently only accept United States/English titles for the following gaming platforms: Xbox, XBox 360, GameCube, PS2, PS3, Playstation, Game Boy Advance, PSP, Nintendo DS.
We are currently only accepting pre-owned products from United States customers.
Trade-Ins must be in the following conditions:
- Trade-ins must include all original packaging, manuals, and maps (All included material must be in good condition).
- Brand-new, unused or unopened video game in perfect condition. In its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.
- Games in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The title box is clean and vivid, with no signs of wear or cracks.
- Well-cared-for video games that has been played, but remains in great condition. The game plays without interruption, and does not skip. The title box may show limited signs of wear, as may the liner notes and instructions.
- Discs must be in good shape; we cannot accept scratched, chipped, cracked, or stained discs, or discs that skip (this applies to both sides of the disc where applicable).
- Games must arrive in clean, un-cracked title boxes. A Video Game received in a substandard title box - or no container - will NOT be accepted.
- The cover art and instructions must be included, and be in clean condition.
- All cover art, booklets, instructions, tray linings, etc. that came with the original product must be included.
- Only original titles will be accepted; we cannot accept copies.
The Gamers Network will not accept games under the following conditions:
- CDs with scratches.
- CDs without boxes.
- Cracked or broken cases.
- Non-original cases (i.e. jewel cases or rental boxes).
- Items with missing or altered labels. This includes items that have been written on or that have been repackaged or relabeled (i.e. rental items).
- Games without instruction booklets.
The Gamers Network reserves the sole right to determine if game condition is acceptable for Trade-In. If we receive a trade-in item that is not in the condition specified we will either reassess the game?s value (at our discretion) or we will not accept the game. Trade-ins will not be accepted if they are damaged, missing accessories, or if the wrong item was specified. If for any reason your trade-ins are not accepted, they may be returned to you upon request at your expense within 2 weeks of store receiving.
Sending in games
Please use an appropriate, mail safe box to send your items. For more information on how to prepare a package for shipping visit the official USPS website http://www.usps.com. We suggest that ship out your trade-ins by the most economical method available, which may include USPS Media Mail or Parcel post.

Insurance
We require that you insure your shipment for the replacement cost of all pre-owned merchandise sent to us. We are not responsible for merchandise that is lost in transit or damaged upon arrival. If you have not purchased insurance, we cannot compensate for the loss of items entrusted to the Postal Service or UPS.
